Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

IPL, or Intense Pulse Light can help treat dry eye by targeting inflammation and improving the function of the meibomian glands. These glands, located in the eyelids, produce the oily layer of the tear film and when they are blocked or inflamed, can result in dry eye. IPL helps to clear blockages, reduce inflammation, and stimulate gland function, ultimately leading to more stable and comfortable tears.
